2010年，金鸡湖高尔夫俱乐部举办了令人难忘的一届Volvo中国公开赛，是首次由中国的高尔夫俱乐部举办的经欧巡赛和同一亚洲联合认证批准的国际级锦标赛，其高水准的球场设施及俱乐部服务得到了国内外职业球手及业界、媒体的高度评价。
Volvo中国公开赛的举办，也是金鸡湖高尔夫首次在世人面前亮相，盛名在外的球场美景夺人眼球，轰动一时。

In 2010, Jinji Lake Golf Club held an unforgettable Volvo China Open, which was the first international championship held by a Chinese golf club and approved by the European Tour and One Asia. 2018美巡系列赛——苏州公开赛在苏州金鸡湖国际高尔夫俱乐部举行，此次赛事亦是自2010年举办沃尔沃中国公开赛以来，金鸡湖高尔夫俱乐部承接的又一项国际职业赛事，吸引了来自中国、美国、加拿大、韩国、日本、泰国、澳大利亚、新西兰等17个国家和地区的144位高尔夫选手参赛，冠军将获得世界排名积分。
赛事的举办不但为俱乐部收获了一众好评，而且推动了高尔夫运动产业的发展，填补和完善了苏州高水平职业体育赛事的版图。
2019美巡系列赛——中国之苏州公开赛荣耀回归苏州金鸡湖国际高尔夫俱乐部。在各方的支持下，赛事再次取得圆满成功，高品质的苏州金鸡湖高尔夫俱乐部亦是赛事成功举办的关键。此次赛事给各位球员留下深刻印象，吸引近20个国家和地区的156位高尔夫选手齐聚金鸡湖，共同竞逐世界荣耀。

The 2018 PGA Tour Series - Suzhou Open was held at Suzhou Jinji Lake International Golf Club.
